Diaspora Dolls is the studio practice of Julie Brannen, based in Savannah, Georgia. This is a small, hand-run studio. The short version: the only personal information collected is what you choose to type into the contact form, it is used only to reply to you, and it is never sold or added to a mailing list.
What is collected
When you send a note through the contact form, the studio receives the name, email address, optional phone number, and message you provide, along with the title of any piece you were viewing when you wrote.
Nothing else is collected. This site does not use advertising trackers, and it does not build a profile of you.
How it is used
Your information is used for one purpose: so that Julie Brannen can reply to your inquiry about a piece, a commission, or a question about the work. It is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
Who else can see it
Contact form submissions are delivered by a third-party form provider, and site hosting and the doll catalogue are provided by third-party infrastructure vendors. These providers process data on the studio's behalf in order to run the site and deliver your message. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Local browser storage is used only to keep the studio's own administrator signed in to the private admin area — it is not used for visitors browsing the public site.
How long it is kept
Inquiry emails are kept as long as needed to correspond with you and to keep a record of a sale or commission. You may ask to have your correspondence deleted at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what information the studio holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to realityreality4444@gmail.com and it will be handled personally.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and the studio does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
